I'm looking into getting a tune from BBP and I'm curious if it is more beneficial to have a tune via auto cal or in person dyno I live in Vegas so the drive is no problem for me. And do you guys have a list of options you can do?
Thanks Paul

I usually tell folks that tuning via the dyno, depends on how deep your wallet is, and the mods you have. Unless you are heavily modified, or you really want to see your truck on the dyno- it is not really necessary.

Either way, we usually are up at our dyno facility 2 times a month for tuning and the tunes are $450. We only tune on load bearing dynos.

As far as a list, that would depend on what all you want done. If it is accessed in the PCM, we can change it for you.

Alright so I just got my AutoCal and going to do my logging, anybody else out there with a tune have any advice on what I should have done? I have a 2010 5.3 with the 6 speed.

So far I'm thinking 91 octane tune, adjust tire size, raise speedo to 120 (goes that high why not use it all).

And do I just send a wish list with my data log?

I've had my tune on for about a week and I love it. I'm considering asking for a more aggressive tune but not sure since it's a new truck. I used the AutoCal to get it tuned from BBP.

Did you just send your readings from the autocal? I know with the cable tunes they use to have a form to fill out. I checked the website and saw to include year model engine in the email.

Once the proper files are reviewed and deemed acceptable to build a tune of off, Justin will ask you some questions. No "form" per se, but you can always make requests.
