Hi all,

Does anyone have a picture or diagram showing the location of the fuel tank pressure (FTP) sensor for a 2005 Yukon XL K2500 6.0.
This truck has the dual fuel tanks with the EVAP canister behind the rear bumper.

It is NOT located in the top of the primary fuel pump as with the 1500 series Yukon.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the quick reply strutaeng.

I went to the site put it shows location like a 1500 Yukon as part of the primary fuel pump.

My primary fuel pump looks like this with just a 4-pin connector for powering the pump and level sender.

Hope someone can also chime in for where that sucker is.

Umm. Could it be on the auxiliary tank then?

I believe both tanks are simply connected with a Y pipe, no? At least that's what I have seen on mine. If they are joined by an open system, then you only need one pressure sensor.

No sir.
I dropped both tanks and the fuel pumps on both have no port or electrical plug for the FTP.

I searched the link that @strutaeng posted and found 5 occurrences of "fuel tank pressure sensor" and this was the only diagram that came up. Not sure if that helps.

Weird thing about that photo is it shows #1 but not #2 and #3. Kinda doubtful that #1 is the "fuel pump." Whatever it is should be mounted to the rearward side of the crossmember with two hoses connecting going forward.

Post up the last 8 digits of your VIN and maybe @915_Tahoe would be able to look it up for you, see what the part number looks like.

Thanks Fless,

I was thinking the same thing when I looked at the diagram you posted. (#2? and #3?).

As you suggested please see my last 8 digits of the VIN ---------5G119442.

Thanks.
