How do you get the door open when the lock actuator is locked and will not unlock ??? 2002 suburban LT..

Sounds like he would have to enter via different door as the driver's door is stuck.

I think the question was more to confirm that they tried to unlock the door with a key.

I had a 07 Escalade latch lockout a customer. I dropped the window down and was about to hit the top of the latch with a 1/4 metal brake line.but your 02 is different but maybe it will still work.

Got it figured out took me 2 days . It's same as 2001 Buick . You put key in door and coat hanger and hook the door handle lock rod yes between glass and seal use a small wood wedge.and pull up assisting with the key on the outside lock. And it unlocked pop..ya what happens is you got to make it super complicated and then come back to super super easy. [emoji849] Door lock was just jammed with junk because it sat too long bath in lube fixed everything..[emoji41][emoji106]
