I recently purchased a oem radio but noticed it was locked after installing it, my question is there a way to unlock the radio with out going to the dealership.

Yes, your fellow forum members are correct, without a code you will have to go to the dealership to unlock the radio. I would be more than happy to locate a dealership in your area and set up the appointment. Private message me if I can be of any assistance.

Ok its been a while since I responded back to this thread, but I got the radio unlocked for 30 bucks with out going to the stealership the radio works fine even got free xm not sure for how long the only problem with the radio is the volume, it wont go down its stays on high does any one have any idea on what I can do to correct this.

Needs to have the radio programmed to work with your truck. Either you have the center channel or not but each has a different way it turns up the volume. Greg Cps av will fix it for you.
