Going to a trip to visit family over the holidays - 3000 mile roundtrip. Gas isn't too bad right now. But I can take my euro sedan, sip gas and save money and mileage and cruise at a quicker pace. Bought this gorgeous land yacht for road trips but not sure I want to put the miles on her. What would you take?

Suburban! it will be worth it, I was also deciding what to take last for my road trip last time and i drove a 2010 Civic instead and damn that was a terrible experience for me, sure it saved gas money but it was so uncomfortable so much road noise and was not fun to drive at all.

Take the burb. 3000 miles of pleasure awaits. I drove from Ontario Canada to Orlando Florida which is about 2500 miles. When I got there I was ready to go further, the seats are great and ride is comfortable and the kids had plenty of room. I have a taho not a burb so you should be in better shap than I was.
Have a safe trip.

Edit: my round trip cost me $600usd when I went. Way cheeper than 5 plane tickets

Nice! I live close to I-75 and see lots of Ontario plates headin' south. Always know they are Florida bound. You all are some serious roadies.

We blasted through the wifi trial in a week. I have an attached garage and think the devices remained connected even when we were indoors. Now I just tether my phone for the same effect. Safe travels for everyone over the holidays!
