Thats insane Elrey, it's ok if you trash your hearing but doing it to your own kid is the stupidest thing you could ever do. I hope you pull your head out of your ass and save your money until you can do it right. Thats right up there with the dumb asses with the 10k watt stereos and 4 12" subs with their kids sitting in the back seat.
Sorry about the rant but who's protecting the kids?

Straight pipes are for diesels that have a turbo to quiet things down

Straight pipe won't work. Your o2 would go insane and you'd run like trash. Not to mention the ****** gas millage. You can get a shop to make you some long tube headers for cheap sure no brand but brands are for ricers;)

Wow havent seen it that way...so what if i have it coming out of the corsa exhaust that i have in it? 3 inch pipping, would that work...maybe a y-pipe? Oh and thats not really my family car..we usually pack the gang in my wifes suburban or my crew cab...but i see how this can be of concern speacially with new neighbors

I don't think you'd gain entirely too much noise going from corsa to lts y pipe and corsa.

So what would be a good setup then? If i just add the lt's and a y-pipe and keep my current exhaust.

I feel like that would be the ideal setup yes.
You need back pressure to perform correctly anyway.
Straight pipe is good for one thing and one thing only loud.

Back pressure is optional. We all know if people who say you need it and others who say you don't. I've had both no problems before on multiple cars or trucks
