After talking with my tranny guy, and knowing I was gonna put in a 6 speed, I just said...let's see what happens...well...WOT passes everywhere I go, and smoking the tires down the street (scraping rubber off my wheel wells Lol) she hasn't given up yet!! I think keeping it cool is a big key

My 04 has got 229k on it and never had a change either. 100% stock. I'm the second owner, and the OP was a family member. It was driven, but not abused...

How much does a new engine and tranny cost installed just curious

04 GMC this picture was taken the day before we replaced the motor. It was burning a quart of oil with every tank of gas. Ran fine though.

2000 NBS Tahoe in Sig. Just turned 240,000 last week on the original 5.3. Still runs good but she is starting to leak a lot of oil from rear seal. Has been one of the most reliable rigs I've owned so far.
