Any ideas how to trim the bumper up, I'm thinking about cutting it around the tip and just polishing the stainless tip out. It is all on the bottom side so it would be hidden!

Wow that's awful

Weird thing is there was a 1/4 gap to start! It hasn't melted anymore it appears to have the right gap now. That's why I'm thinking a little clean up action and roll with it.

Holy crap dude...that's wicked.

Yeah, trim up the bumper a bit to clean it up and you should be good. The tip will clean up fine with a little elbow grease. Surprised that it melted like that if there was already a 1/4" gap there.

Weird I have barely any clearance on my tip and bumper and it hasn't melted. Been about 2 months.

Hmm that's odd I have a similar one to the one posted above (made by Volant) and I've yet to experience a melted bumper too. I've got it pretty close to my bumper... about the same as the pic above.

What's the best way to cut that bumper, tape off the tip and and my lines then get after it with a dremal? Follow up with a little sand paper to smooth it? It's a stainless tip so I'm sure a little easy off and elbow grease will clean that up. By the we me and the muffler shop will have a little talk today.....

Well I got a full refund, wasn't hard didn't argue just showed them the damages. 5 minuets with a pocket knife and she's trimmed up good as new. I noticed both tabs on the bumper are broke. They hold from the bottom. So I may have to replace this in the future anyway. I did however get my lift on!! What an awesome product. CCM gets major props from me. Anyway cut and dry install. Read the instructions then watched a U tube video and got to work. 3 hours later done.

Looks nice, I just bought a 07 Yukon myself with about the same miles. Silver in color, but love the black

I wanted silver jut couldn't find one. Yesterday I went for an alignment at Firestone. Boy this thing was jacked! Anyway why in there the fricken battery shot craps! On the way up my traction control and stabiltrak mode was popping on and off. We got it on the alignment rack and it wouldn't restart. Turn out it didn't have the right battery at all in it!!! 90 bucks later and some borrowed tools new battery was in. Also during the shake down the drivers hub bearing is out. Guess I'll order one of those today. I did did however bought this new had undercoating sprayed on. Looks brand new underneath!!
