I know it has been talked about a ton but I am going to ask again :) I am used to having big bass in the back but these days I am needing more room for the dog and my other stuff. But I miss my bass and want a little back. I dont want to give up too much room though. And I still want to be able to lay my seats flat. I have thought about replacing the stock sub with aftermarket but dont know if that will be enough.

So I am thinking of a single 10 (2 10's maybe???) maybe 12 in a box with the amp hooked to the box so I can have everything on quick connects or something so I can move it in and out real easy.

Anyone have a good set up with a bit of thump? Nothing too fancy but not the Best Buy special. Thanks fellas!

Thanks Nico! That was just the advice I was looking for. I know what kind of amps are needed for the big stuff but not the smaller stuff. A 600 watt amp and a 12 in a box sounds perfect. Nice looking box too, thanks for the link.

Any preference on brand? Oh and I usually listen to rap/hip hop.

Not anymore but I was rockin' 2 13w7's in the hoe, best sounding setup I have ever had. Rap/Hip Hop and Dubstep sounded insane but yeah JL has amazing SQ and SPL

the best for size restrictions is from JL audio in the new W5's..its a 13 in woofer that is only like 3 in deep and doesnt need hardly any airspace...i believe it needs like 600W RMS for proper power options but can run it on something as low as a JL 250x1...if it was me i would get one W5 and a JL 500x1 and build a slim down-firing ported box with the port aimed at the back of your truck...these woofers are so small its wonderful..I have 2 behind the back seat of my F250 and they are louder than the 2 12w3's i have in my Tahoe...just my 2c's
