Love my denali. Everything is stock right now. Just starting out. I want to get black rims and black out lights grill for now. First step is rims, but I do not want to lose comfort of the ride. Any ideas as to what would look good and be affordable?

You're wanting a good reasonably priced wheel? I'd say 22's and check CL, eBay, or the classifieds here for the best deals. Most new name brand wheels will run you $1300 or more for 22+ plus wheels.

On a NBS I'd go with 20's then 22's. Check your local CL or ebay. CL sometimes has killer deals on factory wheels if you are looking to that route. CK805's look great on the Denali but are hard to find IMO...but I'm a little biased....;)

Just search TYF and there is a different ride with almost every different setup out there.....

Hey ohsixx do you like the denali down under bumper insert grille you have? I've been looking at the one you have, but I'm not sure if I want to go with that one or the one that goes between the hooks to retain them? I think both look good, but I'm still on the fence with which one to get.

I like mine...it gives the front a really clean look(especially if you can run without a front plate)...but if I did it again I'd probably do the one that retains the front towhooks-just in case I need to get pulled out of a ditch or something(which I hope never happens.

The fit and finish on them are second to none and the install is a breeze.

Here is one with the towhooks:

Thanks for your input, I appreciate it. I've been looking at your pics as well as the one you posted. I will need a front plate since I'm here in CA. I like how your front end blends so nicely, but I get worried some day I might need the hooks (knocks on wood). Tough choice as mentioned, and Eug said he only has those 2 styles left.

Sorry op for the thread jack. I say go with some nice looking 22's with a good tire.

if you want to keep your ride I would not go bigger than a 22" wheel, theres usually enough meat on the sidewall for a decent ride.

Thanks for all the replies. I will post pics soon as I have been trolling CL for rims. I want black rims but am considering chrome since they are more available, and then plasti dip or powder coating them. Thoughts?

First step done got the rims!

Thanks for the feedback all! Well I got the first step done. I picked up some 2 crave 22" rims and really like their look. I like them chromed out better than I thought, but I am still going to plasti dip them to see how it looks. Next step will be to get taillights, black\smoke. Please keep the recommendations coming.

I am going to post some before pics soon. And update as I go along.

Thanks!
