I'm "That Guy" with the wheels sticking out from the fenders of my AT4, and it does get a lot of attention. It wasn't intended on my part, but it goes with the whole AT4 "off road" theme.
I ended up doing a 3 inch lift kit first, then wheels, then big brakes. For a while I drove with a mis-aligned front, but as of yesterday I had that all taken care of. Now it drives super smooth on the pavement. Honestly, I don't know why it took me so long to correct it, but I'm glad I finally took care of it. If there's one bit of advice I can contribute to this conversation, it's to get an alignment as soon as you're done installing your new setup.... your tires and wallet will thank you for it.
