Ohh. Are they able to be swapped out from an 08 to an 07?

It can be done. There is some wiring modification needed and the auto leveling feature won't work but they will light up. And you can level them manually. The only issue is there will be a gap underneath the light as jeep changed the style of the lights in 08. So if you changed the bumper cover it would fix the problem or you can fill the gap with something else if you keep the 07 bumper. 08 and up is really the way to go, hid headlights, myGig radio head unit and other upgraded options.

there is no such thing as fixed lights, 06-10 ALL srt8 are 90% the same besides 08-10 having a slight difference on the front bumper, different (ugly and boring IMO) steering wheel and the black leather instead of gray. If you are referring to projector headlights, then yes 08-10 have them, but honestly all yrs of production on those trucks kick ass so you cannot go wrong with any model.

BTW if someone wants some parts i have some leftover from my 06, let me know :)...i also have a FS section on cherokeeSRT8 forum.

How did you find the 06 erald?

I found it on craigslist from a private party, mine was one of those things where i got lucky but not for the owner though :(...i bought the jeep from an old lady who husband had just passed away at 87yrs old and she was selling all his toys (jeep srt8, jag supercharged, vette, harleys and more) so the vehicle was an 06 with 28k miles and owned by an 80 yr old guy..so could not say no to that deal. The only thing i hated was how much surface rust was on the bottom, it was his "winter" car and being a chrysler it loves rust.

Overall it was a great experince but it was little things that kept pissing me off such as hooooorrible gas mileage, very stiff suspensions and going through tire like no other..and those tires are not cheap either, $1600 just the tires shipped not including road force balnced and mounted which yeld to $1800. The thing is that you only have a choice of 3-4 kind of tires, THATS ALL and they are all expensive.

Yeah I'm thinking about an 06 with 80000 kilometers. Buddy only wants CAD25K for it and it's the inferno red version. As far as I know they only did that for the one year
