yeah just ask for the service history, like i said if you keep it stock or do mild stuff to it (intake, exhaust and tune) you will be fine. The drivetrain issues dont appear until you making 600whp or more. Good Luck

I personally never had a problem with my t case when I had it but mine was stock with just a cai and borla exhaust. As stated those who added power definitely had to upgrade but if you beat on it in stock form you will have problems also just not immediately. Since you are buying used listen for a whining sound when at idle also turn the wheel all the way to the left and do a slow circle for some reason the transfercase makes a binding sound when doing that test. The trannies are pretty rock solid and are beefed up well to handle anything you throw at it in stock form.
Also as stated you will not pass a gas station that the truck doesn't want to stop at but if premium gas prices are of no concern thats a moot point for you. Personally I would love to have another one but my family grew so my toy sadly had to go. Its a monster have fun!
