I get 13-14 combined, 16 on the highway. When I got my Yukon I tried everything to raise the mileage...Tune, CAI, O2 sensors, plugs, wires...Standard tune up stuff. The O2 sensors added about .5 to 1 MPG. The CAI and the plugs/wires took some away.

Bottom line, 5000-6000 lbs, lots of drag, big tires = bad mileage. Be glad you dont have an H2, they are down by the single digits!

Best thing you can do is adjust your driving style.

Shave the roof rack and add a front air dam.
I get 20MPG on the highway at 65-70 and mine is an AWD tahoe, 5.3 w/ 3.73 gear.

How did you do that air dam again, i think i remeber seeing a post on this but i didnt quite get it then either. Thanks
