Looking to go from Hoe to Avalanche

Found an 07 LTZ at a local dealership I am going to look at, 55k miles, 2wd, Sunroof, Nav, rear dvd...
Any concerns with an 07 (since that's 1st year of that gen any bugs to worry about). Anything I should be sure to check? It's a 1 owner. Listed at $27900, which I would not pay-

Yea thats steep... Bought mine last year with all of that fully loaded at 59k miles for $23,990. Only difference was 4x4 instead of 2wd which costs at least $2-4k more for that one option.

Have dealer check oil consumption, check for interior Dash crack, peeling interior and exterior door handles (chrome covered plastic), and check all four exterior handles to make sure none are broken as they brake easily.

I'm not very "mechanically inclined" but now that I'm comparing Avy models....
I thought I wanted 4wd because, although I've used 4wd once in the past 15 years, it was good when I needed it. Anyway, looking at an 08 LTZ 4wd, it shows MPG on E85 at 11/14 and gas at 14/19. I believe 2wd's are 15/21. Maybe I'm an idiot because I just pay and pump, but are there specific E85 gas pumps and could I get 14/19 by just using 87 octane? Yes, my father spent very little time with me as a child......

Well I keep my 4x4 avy in 2wd and get 14.8 mpg which is mainly highway miles. Didn't realize the mpg difference was that much.

Traded my 07 Tahoe in Saturday on a 2010 Av LTZ. Love this thing. The 6 speed is very smooth. Not sure on the gas mileage yet but that really doesn't concern me. I'm sure it's just as bad as the Tahoe

I know this is an old thread but I'm looking at going from an 08 Denali to an avy. I have 3 questions. 1) Do you guys think I would be unhappy if I down graded to the nbs since I've been riding in the nnbs for a little while now. 2) What would be the cutoff for millage on purchasing one. I found an 03 I really like and it has 150xxx miles on it. 3) Is there a big difference from cloth seats to leather seats?
