Looking to swap interior bulbs. Doable?

I'm looking to install red LEDs in most of the interior lights on my wife's Tahoe. This is half for the fun factor and half so that the dome lights won't wake our baby up at night. I've had red LEDs in a previous car and I'm certain that light level would be enough to see while not strong enough to wake the little one. Is this doable? I did a somewhat halfassed search and nothing came up.

While we're at it can it be done with the exterior accessory lights such as under the mirror?

how about tinting them with clear red stickers.
might be an easy fix
