Update: got the Yukon back today. They replaced the seat frame. Problem fixed. Hopefully this takes care of it and it doesn't re-surface. After 4k miles, today was the first day I din't have the seat issue. What a difference...

Agreed. It is MUCH better once you get it fixed. That little stuff like that drives me crazy.

Glad you guys got it fixed. These things drive me crazy as well. How was the fix it sounds pretty in-depth?

The fix was very involved. They had to remove the entire seat and replace the frame then re-install. Of course now my seat doesn't vibrate when the lane departure warning goes off so it needs to go back in. Hopefully they just forgot to connect a wire. I checked the software setting on the Nav unit settings to make sure the vibrate box was checked and it was.

Prime example of why I did my 5 minute hose clamp fix.

1200+ miles on my slt nothing like this happening here. (phew)

At 3000+ miles I now have the dreaded seat clunk. GAWD THAT IS ANNOYING!

Reading through this thread to try and figure out what the fix is.

Current Sentiment on this is issue: I'm upset and wonder if they jerry rigged the seat knowing it would likely fail later. (Wondering why they didn't fix this when I took it in for the Transfer Case recall)

** Edit found fix on page 2 link here:

http://www.tahoeyukonforum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=62923&page=2

Just finished reaching the other sites thread on this issue - Here's the big question...... does the dealer actually have a fix for this?? Or am I doomed to the hose clamp jerry rig fix? (PLEASE TELL ME that this isn't really be the situation)

End Edit **

Very frustrating that no dealerships know what I am describing. My 2015 Yukon Denali driver seat rocks and rolls with every turn I make. My brother in-law is having the same problem with his 2015 Yukon SLT. I'm scared to take it in bc I don't want the dealer coming up with his own fix before GM has an official fix for it.

The hose clamp fix appears to have solved it for me - not exactly a sophisticated solution but seems to be the only workable solution at the moment.

Philcallen, you could always take it to the Dealer with a copy of this post and have them replace the seat frame or you can reach out to the GM Customer Service rep who should be able to get this issue taken care of for you. Good luck with the repair.
