Lost door striker plate nut in panel

Couldn't say my truck is completely disassembled. Either way bit of a perfectionist. It'll always drive me nuts if I know it's in there lol

So these backing plates aren't secured in a pocket or anything? I was wanting to loosen one of mine to make an adjustment but wasn't sure if I loosened it too much it would fall out of place.

No way to access it if the inside trim is removed????
