In Utah, the OPs case is an automatic Street Racing (I believe the technical term is Exhibition of Speed). First offense minimum penalty is automatic impound, 6 month suspended license, and $1800 fine. You don't even need to be in a car for the ticket. Just spectating street racing is grounds for conviction.

Very similar here in PA.... but we dont have the balls to take tge car.... just the license....

Are u LEO?

If this had happened at a track I wouldn't be saying a thing.

Nope, not LEO. I've played with the idea, but decided not to go that route. I do come from a family with a strong background in law. My mom is a legal secretary with paralegal training. I have an uncle that was a LEO in Delran, NJ, but now works for the feeds. My grandma and grandpa both became prison guards after my grandfather retired from the Marines. He was at San Quinton in the 70s. On my wife's side, her cousin's husband is the assistant chief of Salt Lake City. The legal field is something I just tend to keep an ear to the tracks. I've been told I should go into politics or be an attorney, but I've decided I didn't want to hate myself every minute of the day. I really hate attorneys and politicians.

No way you're doing this at a track if you're hitting 115 unless you have one suped up truck. At that much power I doubt it's streetable, so I have to call BS on this one.

If this had happened at a track I wouldn't be saying a thing.

For sure. BUT I was more referring to the comments that blanketed racing an SUV as stupid, as I stated I agree that it shouldn't be done on regular streets(that goes for racing anything).

Your welcome but on the other hand i do see were ppl are coming from. You are illegally street racing and with a SUV a that which is something that was no were near designed for racing and can lose control very easy at speeds over 90mph And can turn into a very bad situation for you or others around you.

How old are you? REALLY??? You are not kidding here, are you? WTF? Who cares????

OMG, racing two SUV's and crying if you lost? GET REAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Did this guy just ask how old someone was, in the same post he wrote OMG and WTF?

OP it is dangerous but I understand sometimes it happens. Intake and headers combined with a black bear tune really wake these trucks up.
