Loving my E85 right now

First tank of E85 I went 214 miles using 19.01 gallons which is about 11.2mpg. Pretty good considering my “average MPG” on the cluster was 13.7mpg.

Just filled up again, drove 195.8 miles using 18.27 gallon of gas comes out to about 10mpg

Then it must actually be 85% Ethanol instead of the "minimum 50% to maybe somewhere in the 70s but likely 60s percentiles" like everyone else sells. I'm gonna make it a point to get out to that Chevron where I saw this to see if they have the same.

@iamdub Ill keep you posted if the button continues to change depending on the batch of E85 they are selling, that’s pretty cool they did that if that’s the case

E85 will only get to 83% as the other 2 percent are chemicals so it will not be palatable. E85 can be anywhere from 51% to 83%.

@Dustin Jackson You're doing pretty good on it, mine averages 11.7 mpg between city and highway use on E85.

I went by that Chevron today and they cut out E85 altogether. Maybe they just let the RaceTrac across the street be the sole local provider for it. They've replaced it with Ethanol Free 87 ("Not a Chevron Product").
