Update had the problem again so I had a Walbro gss340 I had bought for the turbo kit so I decided to put in. At some point they changed the old square connector to the new connector but left the old one exposed it was all rusty and corroded so I cut everything off and redid all the wiring. The pump that I was replacing was working. So I'm assuming it was due to the crusty wiring. But I decided to continue with the Walbro. Got it all in no problems. Only with having to wait while the pump primers to turn on the truck
