Bushing in end of shift cable where it attaches to arm disintegrated. Bought Dorman Help bushing, ruined 2 trying to get it in, as well as snapped the plastic neck near the mount. Have zip ties holding neck together so I can shift to park, and wire holding cable to arm. I need to order a new cable, but rock auto lists 2 different lengths for the lower cable: around 59.25” and the other is a little over 63.77” Advanced auto only lists the 63.77” cable. I just pulled cable out from under Yukon so I could measure it, and it appears to be the shorter one. But, Summit Racing does not have 2007 Yukon Denali XL listed for the shorter cable. I’m confused. Should I just order the shorter one? ‍Also, would it hurt to order the longer one, as it’s only 4” difference?

These don't have the dimensions of the length.
Thank you for the help. I was able to order the correct lower cable from RockAuto. Now my new problem is the little clip that connects the upper to the lower cable broke when I removed it, and I can’t find one at my local Napa or advance auto. I called dealership and they lost it as coming with upper cable, and they couldn’t give me a separate part number for just the clip. Would you happen to know where I could get the clip? I have the vehicle up on jack stands, and my wife needs to go to work in an hour.

That clip is not serviced separate, i noted there that you must replace the upper cable due to a design change and the clip only comes with the cable.
