THESE LPPS ARE NOT A DIRRECT BOLT UP on TAHOE/SUBs!

Well I got it in after alot of cussing, The main problem is with the ORY pipe. IIt hits the crossmember and puts things in a bind. Also the muffler and catback must move back. The ORY is so huge fitiment is extermely difficult but can be massaged into place.

Im so tight on the passenger side, I have to weld another bung for the 02 sensors to relocate it a little further back. I will post some pics of the progress. But I still need to run by a muffler shop to tweak things Ill post some pics of updates in a few. But Im going to wait to put the Yank in because I need to locate 2 trans coolers 1st. Plus I need a new starter still

is your tahoe lifted/lowered? I have heard that when you change the suspension, LT headers don't fit as nice.

however, I have heard a great many good stories about the LPP's and their fitment. Sorry yours are giving you trouble.

I can also say that the headers you have in those pictures do not look like LPPs... at least not the ones they are selling right now... the LPPs have slip fittings to connect the header to the ORY. You have a flange fitting.

My LPPs are used and modified. They are welded at the joints, and welded at the flanges as well. Also The collectors ends were added for easy future removal. IMO its built much better than they come from LPP. My truck is LOWERED 2/3 DJM. But still its up in the frame, so I dont see that causing the problems. But just maybe, cause its such a close fit. Today I also confirmed fitment issues not only with our trucks but with alot of pickup trucks as well. So far im learning LPP fits good on most 4wd, and 2wd guys seems to have problems. But its surely some fitment issues with the company. But overall quality is excellent.

Also TRAVESIO has the same exact problem as me, his ORY hits the crossmember in the exact spot with his slip fittings. Maybe he will chime in here, but he PM me about the problem as well.

I had my homie's shop build me a y with high flow cat and single 3" when I did my AEMs, might be easier to have a shop build you a new one or cut up the one you have.

MAX Im either going to get the xmember notched, or have the shop heat the ORY and bend it some to get it off the xmember.

Here are a few pics folks.

This Yank is going to have to wait a couple weeks until I locate a trans jack!

Also located 2 coolers to run in parallel with the radiator.

like i said on pt.net, my lpps fit perfect..not even close to the crossmember...theres a chance when he put the collectors on the ends of the headers it changed the distance...since when you get them the entire thing is slip fit you are able to move the y pipe foward quite a bit...i have over an inch of clearance

That make senses and is understandable, cause my passenger 02 cant be fited, so im goin to plug it and relocate. But it still does not explain Travesio problems as well. And his LPP are the slip fit directly out of the box. Same issue, same area!

I did see your pics on PT, and IMO it has to be some sort of change to the ORY.

i think your best bet and talking (typing) from my experience is taken it to the muffler shop and have them heat up the y pipe and bang it out to make it fit so it wont rub your cross member this is what i end up doing and it worked..

now about your 02 sensor that's something I've never heard of. all though the kit did come with some wire loom protection and extra wire. maybe that's why they gave me that wire if i needed to add extensions to the 02 sensors..

either way bro, the LLP's are a ***** to get on and they do have fitment issues well at least mine did and yours also... but overall quality is superb,
