Just checked my sticker on our 2025 Tahoe LS 4x4, and the payload is 1848 lbs. That seems higher than any of the numbers I see on the internet? The Tahoe has the front bench so I guess maybe it saves some weight there, but I am curious if anyone else is over 1800 in a 4x4 tahoe?

Base level trim, SWB, 9-seater, 5.3? - you have the max payload edition - lol.

I have base level trim, LWB, 9-seater, Diesel and my payload is at 1583lbs.

Yeah I get that the base model has the highest payload cuz it has the least stuff, but 1848 is higher than i see listed as the base payload for even the 2wd version?

My 2021 Yukon Denali w/6.2 and mid-level features is 1483 payload. 1848 is 365lbs more. Do you have the 5.3 (maybe it's lighter)? or maybe features can add 365lbs? I understand a Diesel engine can take away 400lbs because they're much heavier.

Interesting for sure, and I'm following along for info - but doesn't seem that crazy :)

Yeah it's a 5.3 ... literally LESS than a base model in the sense that the front bench and lower console delete gave a $250 credit off of the base 4x4 LS MSRP. It's not that crazy but then I look at this link:

which says the 5.3 has a max payload of 1746 in a 4x4, Edmunds says LS 4x4 with 5.3 has 1746:

Maybe the 60/40 split bench with no lower console saves 100 lbs?
