My buddy gave me a ls2 manifold, injectors and rails is it worth the swap on my truck? If so does it just bolt up or what needs to be done? Thanks

is it a truck or car manifold? if it's a car manifold you will end up losing torque in the low and mid range and that is going to be no good. Now if you intend on spinning into the upper RPM range all the time then it might be ok. For a DD I would say no.

I'm not sure but probably is a car manifold. And yes it would be a Dd.

No don't do it you will lose your bottom end power! These are bigger trucks to get rolling.

car manifold is short, truck is tall. there is significant diff in height.

run the car mani with a tight 3k converter and reap the benefits :)

LS2 Manifolds don't flow very well, unless it's ported. Truck intake flows well. Plus, the TB is a 90mm opening 4bolt. You have a 78mm 3 bolt, yes they make adapters. Also, your idler pulley will hit your throttle body due to the TB being lower, and you'll need to extend your MAP Sensor wires due to the sensor being in front.

IMO, you can get a NNBS/TBSS intake for about $200, and get a LS3 TB with a x-link adapter and you'll pick up Mo powah
