Hard enough to ruin my credit. But since it is an ls engine, I'm sure I could steal one cheap and install it without much trouble

Tuning might be alot easier if just installing a long block.

13,500 for just the long block....

Plus all the extras and the work to fit it...

All for 627hp and under 600lb-ft...

Rather rebuild a 6.0 and boost it.

Wasnt aware it wouldnt fit. Excuse me while I bash my head against the wall.

I'm assuming it's not the same block as the 5300/6000 vortec motor, and you'd need new motor mounts. You'd probably need to move a few accessories around under the hood, clean some things up, etc. if i'm pulling the motor and swapping, i'm doing new coolant tank, new cooling stack, etc. it very well may fit with new motor mounts, but i'm not recommending trying to use the hardware for a 5.3l with a 454.
