I'm not sold on it based on what I've seen of a lab analysis of what lucas is. It's literally thickener. Not much in the way of anti wear, detergent, acid/base stabilizing additives. It's somewhere around 10x as this as XXw30 at operating temp. It would make the most sense to me, to use a thicker oil to suit your needs vs. Diluting the additives of your current oil

I been using it for about 2 months. No issues here.

THanks I'm due for a change but I've been using 5w30 synthetic mobile 1 maybe use thicker syn this next
