Magna flow or flowmaster?

Flows. I've had both but on 5.7 and I prefer the flows. The magnaflow a were dumped and weren't as good as the flows my hoe has and its not even dumped

Magnaflow. Flowmaster are louder but they seem to rust and rot out faster. At least here in NE they do

My wife's has a Flowmaster super 50 series SUV and it is pretty nice no drone and only at idle you barely notice it.

ive owned both. i had flows 40 series on my silverado. it was slammed so i had it dumped before the axle. not bad but still i bit louder at high RPM than i"m happy with. magnaflows are just a better product imo. not knocking flows for real but lets be honest. flows are crushed bent were as magnaflows are mandrel bent. flows will rust out over time especially if you live up north. magnaflows are stainless and wont rust over time. my tahoe will soon be rocking a magnaflow set up once my 2 little boys quit getting all my money. but hey, family first.

Flowmaster makes stainless mufflers, They`re just not as pretty as magnaflow.

I`ve had a pair of them on my pickup for 5 years with no rust at all and i live in new york state.

I never understood why they polish their mufflers when the only time you`ll see them is on a lift or if you flip your truck over.

flow master mufflers are just that a muffler.

There is no sound tuning or anything like magnaflow. Flow masters just sound like a slightly quieter straight piped exhaust which to obnoxious for trucks like these.

Ive had a flowmaster super 40 on my 05 5.3.. They sound good but it got a little too loud for my liking kind of annoying after a while. The drone on the highway also was pretty bad.they rot out and the quality is not as good as magna flow. Now i have a 14 inch magna and im very happy with it.. nice and mellow but has a great sound and is plenty loud when you step on it. Also the most important is that magnaflows FLOW way better... straight through. The 40 series has baffles or chambers which restrict airflow. I could feel a little boost in the truck when I went back to the magna.
