Do you guys know when oil pressure sensor filter was introduce? I can't fit one in my new non AFM valley cove. My guess is non AFM didn't have a filter or maybe was different?

I'm still using a filter, same part as the one from my Gen IV L92 6.2L... That was VVT but not DOD/AFM. I'm now using an iron block, LQ9 which is a Gen III block and still uses same sensor/screen.

the actual tube on new valley cover where you put the sensor is shorter about 1/2" which makes it impossible to screw it in with filter in place
