Ok, so here it goes, I went to a local reputable shop to get a new headunit and amp and sub in my 2003 Yukon denali with bose and navigation, I got it back Friday and checked everything while I was there and it seemed perfect, it has been perfect all weekend until now. Went to go start it and the battery is dead, the radio was on, so I thought whatever that's odd.

Charged the battery I cranked right up, now the gauges don't work none of the windows work, locks driver memory heated seats don't work. it says unknown driver upon startup my ABS light is on, keyfobs don't work, when I turn it off the instrument cluster says"PG" I don't know what this is, never seen it before. No sound at all from the speakers but the sub works, I am at a loss as it is a weird combination of problems, the shop is closed today and I need this fixed asap. Any help is greatly appreciated. thanks

Who knows what they did behind the radio. Maybe used the wrong harness and the RAP is staying on?

Really needs to go back to the shop.

I know they used the right harness, I bought everything (rp5-gm11). And yes it seems like it is because it stays on with the key out and door open, but the amp will only turn on with the key in the on position, I'm more worried about all the various electrical problems like the windows and DIC and such. Will hope they get everything sorted out. I am good with cars but when it comes to electronics I'm lost

in 2003 they changed the way the entire wiring works. So to the windows, door locks, chimes, etc it's no longer the 12v power and ground. Those same signals go through the radio and that's why you now have to get the expensive box (rp5-gm11). So if they have that wired up wrong, it could effect other electrical stuff. your RAP wire keeping your radio on and your remote turn on wire for the amp is two seperate wires.

Oh I see, that explains why some of the electrical is messed up and some is perfectly fine. I really am lost for words because I just went out to crank it and the interior lights came on(which didn't before) and the gauges shot up like they were normal, I tried the windows and the battery was too low. I just threw it on the charger and I'm hoping that solves this whole ordeal, and it was just a battery issue. Thanks for the help I really appreciate it and I'll let you know how things go

so how did it all end??? Fixed?

Yep, after I charged up the battery it was fine and still is now. I honestly don't even know how it happened. It's been fine now ever since so I think that's the end of it, I think the battery may have gotten low enough not to power everything correctly and everything needed reset
