I have the little push buttons,

and during the morning, my windshield is coated with dew, and i drive a few miles in the shade, and i have to pull out in to traffic about a block from my house. so i wanna blast the defrost on 90 to clear it.

then, i wanna shift it feet or dash to cool off the interior, on 60,
nice & cool here, so don't need AC, just not the heat.

then at lunch, if it's rainy, have to clear it again....

it's just annoying to set & hold it, i am used to rotary knobs.

is there a way to make it go from 60 to 90 & back?

before you kill me:
i searched on here
i searched again
i read the manual
and i tried a LOT of different button combos

so now...kill me for the stupid question, but in this era of "electronic nannie's" in our SUV's, you would think you could pop the Temp to either end of the scale automatiically.

From my knowledge, I believe you have two options -

1. Push the defrost button. I believe you can set this to a different temperature. If not, then you can a least turn the temperature up, and I believe once you turn the defrost off (by pushing the same button), the temperature will go back to your previous setting. It's hard to explain this one, but it seems like it did it for me when I was driving home one night awhile back. The front window started to fog up so I turned on the defroster, and then it got real warm, so I turned it off and it went back to the temperature I had the regular settings at.

2. I am assuming you have the automatic climate control. If that is the case, you should be able to push the "auto" button along the top of the climate controls. I would think that would adjust your temperature accordingly and take the hassle out of changing the temperature constantly.

I hope that helps!
