Map Lights

I have a yukon and I am looking to convert all the interior lights with Sylvania LED bulbs. I know that the 211-2 will work on the dome light in the center, but will it work on the 2 outside lights that are on each side? (I assumed that these are called the map lights.) The LED version does not have the 2 prong off each end like the regular lights. Please let me know what you have done to convert yours.

Here is a picture of the build options. Will the LED even work?

Unless I am missing something, I do not see the year and model of your truck. This information will be helpful in assessing and answering your question.

While your bulb specs could be different, my 07 Yukon XL Denali map light spec is PLW 212-2 – 42mm long barrel shape.

So sorry that I forgot to include that I drive a 1996 GMC Yukon (2 door). It is telling me that the dome light is a 211-2 as pictured above. But I am also looking to see if it will fit in the map lights as well. Just wanted to know before I spent 6.88 per bulb for 4 map lights. Any info would help. Thanks.

From what I can see, that 211-2 spec will fit your map lights. For less than $7, I suggest that you give it a try.
