at least this gives me an idea of where to start looking for the Blue42 wire! Now it's just figuring out how to wire in my fan for "high" vs "low" but i can probably just wire in the "high" wire from my fan (it's a two speed).

I'm still thinking about the AC wire....i'm thinking there is an AC wire that runs from the dashboard to the computer and there is a way to tap in it from there.

Anyone have any ideas??

Atomic - i will resist the flexalite controller as long as possible, I will make this work!!! :)

the green wire you speak of. on the TBI motors, it was just coming right off the compressor, thats what flexalite wanted you to tap off of.. I never ended up using the green wire for my kit since i dont use my air.. it was pointless

If I had to guess, Justin programmed the Aux fan to be your fan controller by readjusting the temps and conditions that it comes on at.

It would be the dark blue wire if he did;

Maybe a quick email to him would confirm.
As for the harness? IDK...

Just my $0.02...

Yuk!! I feel like i haven't seen you on here in a few weeks!! (i'm almost ready to start ordering my hydro parts)

Yeah, I sent him an email but he was tuning over the wkd so there is a bit of a delay.

Any idea how to tap that Blue42 wire (thin metal pin at the end) into the computer or computer wires?

I was gone further up North for a week or so with no i-net access. :(

I had a couple of thoughts on how I would do this if it was my project.
If your interested, here they are;

1) I have not confirmed this, but I think that some of our trucks (the 2500's and Suburbans) have an aux efan in front of the ac rad which blows on the entire rad section from the front. I would imagine (again not confirmed) that our trucks would have this wiring harness in place even though we may not have the factory fan. I would go look for it and if you found it, wire up that harness on/off lead to that and see if that's where Justin put the fan controls. It's the most logical place to put it.

2) If you can't find that aux fan harness, then I would pull back the wire loom on the computer and look for the dark blue wire. If there's more than one, uh-oh. If only one, then hook up that harness on/off lead to it and again see what happens.
