I think I have a failed chinese made mass airflow sensor. So far a newly installed made in USA sensor has cured the reduced engine power issue. Most online parts retailers don't list where parts are made. So I figured I'd post up for others who prefer US made parts.

Also made the air box easier to remove. Used a screw driver to push plastic lock tabs out. Removed, Degreased and washed grime out of airbox. Then clicked lock tabs back in the plastic push fasteners. Enlarged both airbox holes so the push connectors are now just guides. Drilled a couple holes through airbox and metal support tray. Installed sheetmetal screws to secure airbox. Now the airbox will be easy to remove for cleaning. It is now much more secure. Seems it will have less vibration as well.

I have heard that brand is made somewhere on the east coast, gets shipped to a extreme cold testing facility, then a high heat facility, then gets tested again before it's boxed.

I've had good luck with their products.
