I liked MBRP that I had on my NBS Tahoe. Was a little loud around town, but great in highway. I would really appreciate a full review when you get time, because I am thinking about doing something to the wifes 2007 Suburban.

What exactly would you like to know about the system?
I got the pro series T304, lifetime warranty, 3" piping. I really like the sound and once I finally got the stock exhaust removed the rest of the install was a breeze. Installed in the driveway without even jacking up the truck. I wouldn't say it's too loud at all.
If this one didn't work out I was gonna turn to Gibson next, but I'm happy we got it installed properly. BB tune is next!

I can attest to what you experienced completely. Taking the stock system off without a lift was a pain lol I got the installer series, because up here even stainless systems go to crap with all the salt, so I figured it didn't matter. It took a few minutes but it all ended up lining up. The sound is good, once it broke in it got way deeper with the 6.2. I like your tip way better it looks bigger too. Its got a little drone (I'm probably louder than a 5.3) and I'm scared that ifI ad headers I'm gonna have to swap muffler but it sounds great now. The rumble is crazy deep.

Yes very deep rumble. Inside it's pretty quiet. When my wife was driving us to the store yesterday I could barely hear it with the A/C on. Haven't taken it on the highway for any longer trips yet. It's pretty subtle just cruising around.
Taking the stock system off was even more of a pain without a saw. I tried everything I had to cut that sucker off, but it was not gonna happen. Basically just mutilated it, LOL. Broke down and bought a saw. Zipped it off in 2 seconds!

I wish i would have kept my stock cat back and just got headers now lol

I had to cut my stocker twice because i misjudged by like 4'' and couldn't get it over the axle haha

I am about to order a black widow race muffler, cause the MBRP has a more tame tone

Why do you wish you got headers instead of the MBRP?
If you got the headers now it will probably sound really good! Throw some ARH on there.

Because the stock exhaust is .5" bigger and flows better. All the MBRP did was change sound. I could have saved the money and got headers and stock cat back and made more power, and saved money. Stock system sounds sweet with headers.

I don't feel that the stock piping was any bigger honestly. I'll go out and measure in a few minutes. Plus stock piping isn't mandrel bent and the stock muffler is pretty restrictive from what I've read. I don't regret buying the new system at all. It's a quality construction exhaust made out of much better materials that should flow better than stock without a doubt.
We're moving to the northeast soon and I'm sure the stock exhaust will turn into swiss cheese before you know it..
