ok well i tried to post this on two different forums and on this one in the suspension section already, but nobody seems to be willing to shed light on this for me. so here goes. tomorrow i will be taking delivery of my mcgaughys 2/3 drop part number 30008. i paid $492 shipped. after ordering it i discovered all these issues with traction control and ABS lights on the dash after installing the kit. it seems to be mostly people with the 2007 lt and mine is a 2010 not sure if it matters. now im worried and wondering if i should even install it. some say its only when turning sharp or slow parking lot manuvers. either way i dont want to create an issue thats not there now . so what causes it? someone on here has to have this drop on there 07+ tahoe. can those guys please tune in. im thinking about installing just the rear then driving it, then the next day do the front just so i can isolate the problem being front or rear. i hear its something about the spindles, some say its pulling too much tension on the abs wires for the rear, some say that it is fixed with alignment, lastly i heard that since it rides lower the truck thinks its rolling over easily. either way i never found a direct answer, fix, or explination. i went with mecaguagys because they have basically the exact spindle gm uses now, and i figured it is the best one but i guess i found out that i should have talked to a guy name tony on here. lol too late now!

Jerry -- I think that a lot of people here have gone with Belltech, and maybe in part due to some of the issues you mentioned seeing with the McGs kit.

"Modded" here has the McG spindles, and he's really low, and I don't think he currently has issues. I think he DID have some issues, but he said there is a TSB for the lights that may come on after lowering, and I think that the fix includes a flash from the dealership. PM Modded, and he can probably shed some more light on this.

Also, if you ordered the kit, but haven't installed it, then why can't you return it?

I have the 2/3 kit as well. I have just the traction control light that comes on when doing sharp turns but that is it. Flashes on for a sec and goes away. Half the time I don't even see it because I am looking at the road when turning. But it doesn't hurt the vehicle in any way.
