Nice Hybrid - I think the stance is great, but once bitten by the mod bug, you'll never stop thinking about new parts...lol

Have you had the chance to put a real load in the back of the Tahoe?

I'm interested in how they compare to the factory springs as far as load capability and stance. Would six people and luggage drop the rear into Cali-lean mode?

Are these the one you are suggesting 07burb?

I really didn't have an idea on how to drop the front a half an inch yet lol.

I just don't think I really wan to go a whole inch. Maybe Norcalss can chime in.

Yeah, that's what I'm talking about. They ride great!

Norcal SS will be able to fix you up and add his expertise to the convo and may have a trick or two up his sleeve.

Why not go down a full inch? I'm not sure there's much noticeable difference between an inch and .5" but I could be wrong :hmm:

Ron, FWIW I had these same springs in my Burb and took a few road trips to Indianapolis and back and they road great. The Burb was loaded down with a cooler full of snacks and water along with luggage, stroller and pack 'n play and 3 kids and had 0 issue with it.

I have some airlift helper 1000 bags arriving on friday so that should help with towing.

I will probably just have to do a full inch up front but I really think I would be happy with just a half.

No hybrid's don't have autoride, at least this one doesn't lol.

I did remeasure and it seems the springs have settled a little. I am measureing 36" at all for wheels.

Man, I wish you could throw a hybrid air damn onto the LTZ front end. I love how low and squared off the hybrid front ends are. Looks like a locomotive!

Yep. Not the grille and whatnot... Just down from the bumper.

Wait... Aren't you the guy who took CK375s AND Esky lights OFF his truck?? ;)

lol it's not that ... the hybrid bumper is all one piece + lower valance + grilles. You can't interchange elements tween regular Tahoe bumpers and it. You have to swap the entire front number assy (add grilles over the stock black plastic ones if you so wish) AND swap hoods.

If I'd known you liked it so much i'd have swapped with you in a second.
I hated that freakin' snow plow. :)

I know it's all one piece, hence the "I wish" part in the initial post. Yeah, I don't like the details (or lack thereof) of the hybrid front, but prefer the overall idea of it not tucking back under, and coming down low like it does.

...But, then again, this is coming from someone with a splitter on a car that's @ 2.5" off the ground. lol
