I do hear it. That would bug me and I would be worried about an engine issue. It does sound like pre-detonation.

In my experinece I go to different dealer and tell them what the other dealership did. Then they are happy to win my business.

Actually, sounds like valvetrain clatter... (Excess lash from lifter not pumped up)
