Meanwhile, my dealership continues to get a bunch of Yukons and Yukon XLs

The dealership should be able to pull up the event history for all of their inventory vehicles, which will show the date of every event (order, accepted, built, bayed...). My dealership just sent mine for my Z71 Tahoe built on April 13th and still sitting in Midlothian.

Any idea whether a dealership can look up this info from another dealership? Tempted to ask the new dealership I’m in talks with to look up the details of the one I already have reserved. But don’t want to sound like an idiot by asking

I don't know how we are literally the last ones to get our vehicles...of the 50 I've tracked, I think there are only like 3-4 of us left here with TPW's one after another/in the same week.

Which IL dealership are you going through?

Can anyone get me any info on my VIN not sure where my vehicle is but since 4-19-2022 my care has been on 4300 status. Any help would be appreciated

Since 4/9 my dealer has said my Yukon was waiting on shipping
TODAY:
We don't know why but your vehicle has 2 different status reports,
3800, hold at factory.
and 4300 waiting on shipping.

My Yukon was built on 4/8

I bet my order history looks identical. Mine was built on 4/13 and went to Midlothian.

Linton on the other forum said it was 3800 no ETA until he got shut down, the dealer and GMC chat showed 4300 since it was built.

I was told by GMC chat on 5/27 that the latest they saw was 4300. On 6/9, GMC chat said it was 4000, however the dealer says its still 4300 on their end.

No window sticker as of now, and no way to check with Linton to see if it changed in whatever his (seemingly more accurate) system was.

I’m using Arnie Bauer. Salesman has been great, but he’s just as in the dark as I am.

So I found out that they’re one in the same. When you search the order number on mine, it shows 3800 meaning it’s produced. When you search my VIN it shows 4300. the dealership explained it to me and said they’re not conflicting it’s just different systems that provide different numbers. The one system stops at 3800 apparently but the other one goes all the way to 6000.

Sorry to hear you guys been waiting so long. 2+ months since produced without WS or ETA is ridiculous! Mine is produced week of 5/16 so I can only imagine what sort of wait I'm in for. Seems completely random why/how GM decides which ones to ship and which ones wait. Clearly we all drew the short end.

Especially annoyed knowing that local Ford dealers have multiple brand new Expeditions Max in stock and available to buy RIGHT NOW.
