There's gotta be someone online somewhere that actually works at the Midlothian facility, low level employees or in management etc. Where are you? Tell us what's going on over there, spill the beans lol. If someone is out there that's close enough go take a drive and do some reporting. Someone knows something. I bet it's missing parts, but are all there for missing parts? Hmmmmmm...
Yes! There HAS to be someone out there who knows something. Linton on gminsidenews was a hidden gem who has been shut down, but there HAS to be another “linton” out there who has some info. The lack of transparency is just SO very frustrating.

No updates here. I was told last week by the executive resolution team that my order was on hold and to contact my dealer for options. So frustrating. My salesman said that they would contact their GM rep.
If you do the GMC/Chevy chat, using the automated system, what message do you receive?

I got a call from my dealership on Friday. They informed me that last week they received a list of vehicles they have on order that have been produced, but are waiting for a microchip. Unfortunately mine was on the list. Best part is the microchip is on backorder, and they hope to get them in October. They did not know which microchip it was, but it has to either be for safety or powertrain or they would have sent the truck and retro-fit it after delivery. They are willing to give back my deposit, but there is nothing else out there.......
If you do the GMC/Chevy automated chat, what does the "message" tell you? Is it updated?

Mine is still at 4300, and Exec Resolution team has said that it is not waiting on a part/chip, only transport. My event code is still 4300.

This is what I typically get. Dealer has said I'm at 4B00 for the last month or so. Before that was 4300.

So, while my automated GMC Chat response said:
"Congratulations! Your vehicle has been produced. It is important to know that shipping arrangements will take place next and your selling dealer is the best source for additional detail on that process."

I did the GMC Chat (text) and the person said:
"Yes, the Event code is 4300, your vehicle is in transit, thank you for choosing GMC, and Congratulations on your New Vehicle." I responded with it has been at that status since April, and asked if they have any further detail and was told "It shows it is being shipped by Truck, that is all the information we have today, you can check with your Dealership for further information."

There is no way of knowing if this is true; there is still no Window Sticker, VinView...nothing. I emailed my Exec person yesterday and I cc'd Mary Barra and I have not heard anything. I know I was promised weekly updates, and she's been great, but a response would be nice.

quick question- Is [email protected] the correct way to get in touch with executive resolution specialist?

No, you have to call them. I did email her after I already had a ER advisor, and the advisor mentioned my email to her, so I know she got it and actually acted on it.

I feel like taking to Twitter is also a good idea...there has to be accountability; how you can you continue to produce MY'22 vehicles and even CONSIDER MY'23 vehicles when there are thousands waiting for chips.
