I’m almost 100% sure that having a window sticker means that the car is fully competed ; it has all the parts and isn’t waiting on a chip , etc . It defiantly appears that orders with a window sticker seem to be moving quicker in general to their destination than those without

That’s what I thought too, until my window sticker finally became available on 6/24 (produced on 5/19) but we’re coming up on a month with WS and 0 movement…

Yup , someone way back in this thread said his starting shipping a month after the sticker became available . Mine took roughly 3 weeks after sticker produced until it started moving

I think I get more frustrated with GM everyday. The constant change in what they say is ridiculous. My resolution team guy named Chris, called finally on Friday, after going silent for almost 2 months on me and said my Yukon was just waiting on shipping. But yet my dealer told me 3 weeks ago its waiting on a ECM and he assured me it is not. I reached out to my dealer and he told me he doesn't know where this guy gets his info because it is not ready. So the wait continues since it was moved to the Midlothian lot on 4/19.

I do have a question if anyone is able to answer. If a truck shows up on the dealer website as "in transit" and has a window sticker, that truck is produced already correct? When talking to him again today, I just asked him why so many Yukons like mine keep coming on the site and several that are much higher Vin's than mine and he told me that GM just puts them on there and they are not even produced yet... But they have a window sticker? I don't even have a window sticker yet!
If a truck shows up on a dealers website with a window sticker that means its produced. Your dealer is feeding you a line of bull

This window sticker matter is tricky. My Rig never appeared on my dealers site or Chevys site with a "In Transit" status. At stage 4300 at this moment.

Does yours have a sticker ?

My vehicle has been shipped and is in Indianapolis almost to its destination Michigan and should be there by next Monday , but has never once appeared on the dealer or gmc site ever. It’s like it doesn’t exist . If I type in the vin in the gmc site it gives no results .

The window sticker is available however . My sticker appeared early July using this site

believe that dealers can mark them as "sold" and that'll remove it off both their website and GM's....

ours sat out on the website for a month, and then disappeared the day it hit the dealer's lot...we didn't pick it up/actually buy it until 5-6 days later...

think it all depends on what the dealer's objective is...try and drive traffic to the website and get people to call in and switch them to a used vehicle or get them to order one....or do they want to completely avoid all the people calling/emailing

This is why my frustration is growing! When I questioned him on it, he said nope it isn't produced yet, just GM putting it on his website and wouldn't give me a response after.

I am happy people are actually getting theirs shipped to them and seeing movement. But us that have been sitting waiting for our vehicles produced several months ago is just depressing!

That’s hopeful, thanks.

It’s always been my understanding that they don’t show up as in transit on the dealer or Chevy site until they are completely ready to go and have a window sticker. And that status 4300 is often times code for “waiting for a chip”.

Maybe I don’t know what I’m talking about but it seems like there are two kinds of delays - missing chips and actual shipping delays. Missing chips are “produced” with a VIN but have no WS. The ones with actual shipping delays are produced with a VIN and window sticker and legitimately waiting for a ride.
