So in my metal shop we have a bunch of flat bar laying around what could i make out of it for my tahoe? i am questioning my self on a light bar and stuff but any ideas?

all sorts of sizes really ill have to measure it today in shop if i can but I am thinking about making a storage box under my driver side second row seat.

I've been toying with the idea of taking off my stock roof rack, and building a stronger one that is the full length of the roof (from the hatch to the windshield). I carry ladders a lot for work, I'd fab in hook points for tie-down straps.

If you put rails around it about 4" high, it'd be a sweet cargo carrier, AND give you a place to mount lights. Hell, you could do forward facing floods, auxiliary backup lights, and even floods to the sides....
