About 21 on the highway and the 16ish in the city. I also get 14ish towing the fishing boat on a 100 mile round trip.

With BB I am consistent getting 16 average 75/25 city/hwy. hwy only I get 18 with the hills. 19-20 on flats. The tune helps a lot. And when I run premium it increases about 1 mpg average on tank.


BB is way to go. EFI live tunes beat the pants off of a plug and go chip. Buddy got a 45% economy increase from Justin tuning his 8.1L went from 9.5 up to 13.5-14.25 averaging 14 now keep in mind that's a 2500hd Alison trans 4.10 gears and a 496ci BIG BLOCK

I'm looking into this. The truck has barely been used since I last posted. Sunday night I filled her up & handed the keys to the wife. She drive's like an ol' lady compared to me. I will keep you guys posted by end of this week to see how much she consumed!

Off the line acceleration and power load % is the largest fuel consumer because getting these heavy vehicles rolling eats the most.

'01 yukon 5.3 with 3.73's and 241k and I average 16 on a tank...turns 2250 rpm doin 80 on the freeway.
