i just was wondering about this the other day. it seems im always filling up. well i found a problem 145 per 25 gallons. that equals somewhere in the 6ish mpg. for a stock truck that aint right.

you got problems friend. in fact mine has taken a dive as well to ten mpg. I have a whistling sound somewhere under the hood so when i get the ball joint replaced tomorrow im a gonna have it probed for a vacuum leak somewhere. just can't see how after i did the ported tb it was fine and even better then suddenly crapped out.

Wish I could help you Sun, but you know more about em than I do. Let us know what you find, I'm sure someone else will be running into the same problem somewhere down the road. How many miles you got on it?

The drop wouldn't have happened after the performance runs you were doing the other night with your Scangauge?

I started noticing it before the fuel pump probably went bad and when I ran the numbers against the old ones I notice the high numbers on the 0-60 and higher sets. Mind you that whistling sound was not there before. Will have to load the engine I think to reproduce it to locate it. So I will what the shop can do. Not comfortable spraying wet liquids around everything looking for a change in rpm and I dont have a propane enrichment kit around.

I am getting 275 to 300 a tank full with stock drive train plus airaid intake kit and running 22's with over 200K miles.
