I have the mirrors with the integrated turn signals on my Escalade. And the turn signal on the left no longer works.

I think that the LED module has failed. Since the mirror itself is still OK, the LED module should either need to be repaired, or be available as a replacement somewhere?

The mirrors with indicators and heating are very difficult to find and very expensive.

I googled but didn't find anything.

Has anyone had this problem before and found a solution?

6 years ago, a guy in Germany bought my 1988 GMC C2500 truck. ( it was in great condition, and he showed it at "American" car shows around Germany. Maybe you can contact collectors near you? They may have parts? Or how to service it?

You might have luck on eBay. Shipping could be an issue with some sellers.

you can pull the glass off and check the led section directly with 12v, do not connect 12v to any other part.
there are plenty of video on how to remove the glass it basically just clips on, but use care because it can break if flexed to much.
if the led's work with 12v then find the break from bcm to led
if the leds are bad you can buy the led section but it may not match the color/pattern of the original exactly

You can search sites for the replacement light module. Usually runs less than $50 plus shipping. Not too hard to change. YouTube is your friend.

After driving for half a year without the indicator on my mirror glass, which didn't really bother me, a guy with a van drove off my mirror.

He drove too far to the left and hit my mirror with his mirror - it was a Renault master.

It was something like a duel that the knights used to ride against each other with lances.

My mirror folded inwards and my mirror glass fell out and was destroyed.

My Chrome doesn't even have a scratch.

His mirror was completely dismantled and he ended up in pieces on the street.

That's why Chevrolet used the phrase 'like a rock" in their former advertisement...

Now I found a Chinese mirror for only €33, the mirror was from China within a week.

I connected it but it doesn't flash. Now I thought the Chinese had sent me a defective mirror and I removed the mirror on the other side and held the new mirror to the plug on the right mirror.

There it is flashing, so the mirror glass is OK. Then I measured on the left side. There is no more power coming to the cable where the indicator is connected, but the rest seems to be working, i.e. the mirror adjustment and the mirror heating.

Does anyone have an idea where the indicator signal comes from and where the defect could be?

Sure, there could of course be a broken wiring harness in the door, but I don't think so, because everything else on the door works perfectly, i.e. seat adjustment, window regulator, seat heating and so on.

Maybe someone has had a problem like this before and knows how to fix it and/or where the indicator signal comes from.
