It definitely fixed the problem. Been running great until today. Parked it Saturday night with no issues. Tried to start it today and it wouldnt start. Tapped on the gas tank and it started right up. Thats pretty much the fuel pump needs replacing, right?

typically if you stall and hit the bottom of the tank it shocks the pump back to life for a while. this trick will stop working one day.

Yup I think I got 2 weeks out of mine before it wouldn't come on anymore.
