I decided the factory bose system is good enough and going back to it

Well, you gave it a shot and are wiser for the wear!

I would lean towards a poor connection on the harness somewhere, I have read about it before, you might try searching the forum even though the search function is crap.Hey Guys and Gals, not sure if this would be the right thread to ask this, but Chris since you and I have the same truck I thought maybe you could advise? I am curious if anyone has had any issues with the clarity of the back up camera? I was out of town for about a week and noticed when I came back that my screen resolution when the back up camera comes on is horrible, it looks fuzzy like a 70's color TV with bunny ears that can't get reception. Wondering if anyone else has had this issue, and if so what was the fix? Wondering if I just need to go to the dealer and if that is the case, do tell them to replace the command system???
Thanks in advance.
Jim
how do you have the led's connected? are you using relays or just straight to the harness? So interesting experiment yesterday, during the day I was backing up and the screen was pretty clear, but when I switched on the headlights, that is when the screen gets fuzzy. I wonder if it is due to the power draw on the LED headlights??? I switched them on and off and that pretty much was when the screen appeared to show the fuzz. I will do a video later and post it, curious if anyone else has noticed this issue?
Kind of hard now to assume it is a factory problem.
