It’s a 2017 Denali. I think it used to work, now I get a message that it doesn’t “for safety.” If it’s just a setting somewhere, that would be great.

I have same year model. I had to purchase and install a "GM Video in Motion" adapter to plug into entertainment. This allowed me to enter addresses while driving but also set up movies while driving. Most the time my wife does from passenger seat but if you don't have this adapter you cannot do it while driving. SUV needs to be in park.

I purchased mine for $110 on Ebay. https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https://www.ebay.com/ulk/itm/223370263396

Here is instructions on a Silverado but the screws to remove dash for can access under radio is the same. www.youtube.com/embed/p0IakJrEq_0

Only thing is once you got climate control removed do not remove radio. The wire access you need is right there under radio behind the climate control you removed. Hope that helps.

I use the myCadillac app. Which I imagine is the same as the OnStar app. You can type in the destination or just the name of the business and press send to navigation.
