Looks really nice man I did this mod a while back I actually bought the after market version of it at the time it was all chrome and over time the chrome has rubbed off so now its clear and does not really go well. My options are to paint it red which might not match or black it out as well as the tail lights. Here are a few pics.P1010061.jpg

Get you a can of this translucent red paint and a good can of clear coat and it will turn out great! These tails were clear "euro style" and I did the translucent red with a real true clear coat (air gun not rattle can)

A meet up sounds like a great time! I am also available sooner if anyone just wanted to get together and get coffee or drinks and check out the rides. I also just finished painting the interior trim pieces black. I will get pics posted as soon as they are re-installed.

Hi guys, here are a few choice pics from this build. There isn't much technical about the project, it's just labor intensive and it pays to pay attention to detail.

...

If I can be of help to any members here feel free to ask. I have been an LED hobbyist for many years.

Just sent you an email Chris

The basic reflector shape is already there, but you need to drill the holes, and of course grind/mill down the cone shape from the back to get all your leds to sit about the same height, as drroy shows.
