This one guy was obnoxiously making shadow puppets in his mirror, taking a piece of 8 1/2"x11" sheet of paper and folding it over his mirror.

I know right, what a dick that guy is! :manos:

Interesting!

But hey you can still fix it.

To take care the HID bulb hitting the reflective shield by visit the local hardware store pickup one or two heat resistance washers to reduce the length of the bulb.

Step one:

With the reflective shield you can easy fix it or even make a better cutoff line with flash aluminum sheet around 0.2mm thinnest and cut out the same as your original one. I use this method to modified my blazer projector too.
